Jeremy J. Beck, Of Counsel

Jeremy joined Ackerson & Yann as an associate attorney in 2007, after earning his J.D. from the University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law, cum laude, and being admitted to the Kentucky bar that same year. Jeremy focuses his practice on intellectual property law (copyright and trademark), entertainment and art law, contracts, and general business law. His clients include individuals and business entities active in the music and film industries, publishing, visual arts, and graphic design.

Jeremy is also a published composer of classical music, which affords him particular insight into the challenges and legal issues facing those engaged in these and other related creative fields.

Jeremy is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Louisville Bar Association, the Society of Composers, Inc., and the American Composers Forum.
