Tracy Walker is a transactional lawyer in Ackerson & Yann, PLLC's Business Practice Group and is a member of the firm's finance committee.  Mr. Walker represents a range of businesses and financial institutions providing counsel with respect to various general corporate, merger and acquisition, and finance related matters.  In addition, Mr. Walker regularly advises operators and investors with respect to the acquisition, financing, leasing, and disposition of real property and in the development, negotiation and documentation of various limited liability entity investment and operational structures. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Walker practiced in the Corporate/Tax Department of a regional law firm based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Born in Augusta, Georgia, Mr. Walker received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in finance from the University of Georgia and received Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration degrees from Georgia State University. During law school, Mr. Walker worked in the Atlanta District Office of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and for the Executive Council of the Governor of Georgia. He also served as a Justice on the Georgia State University Honor Court. Mr. Walker is a graduate of the State Bar of Georgia Leadership Academy and has been recognized as a Rising Star in the area of Business/Corporate law.  In 2012, Mr. Walker was elected to serve as a City Councilman for the City of Northfield where he lives with his wife, Annie and 3 children.
